Marriage

Author: Laura /

With a marriage comes ..........well........other people's shit. We have already cleared up several small issues. Taylor, clearly, is marrying me for my new flat screen television. I understand this and embrace it. I also provide relatively new lawn furniture, a small chest freezer, and two Yorkies

.
I am thrilled at the idea of acquiring joint custody of these two!

All of this is hunky-dorie.............however.......
this moved into my driveway last night...............................
I am thrilled at the prospect of marrying a cowboy.... but I hadn't considered what 'bringing home your work' looks like........

There goes the neighborhood!

Salt Creek Shootout eve dinner

Author: Laura /

This year was the 10th annual Salt Creek Shootout and we always have dinner after the course is set-up. Here is the oven before the men arrived! I had 1 slab of ribs, 1 pound of smoked turkey, 3 pounds of brisket, and 4 half chickens. I also had 4 bags of chips a half gallon of baked beans. They devoured this food!

I get it!!!

I have seen the road in horrible condition and I have seen the road look its best. However, I have always wondered HOW the road makes its transition! Last week I was headed to the ranch and happened upon this machinery! How fascinating! Also, now I need to wash my car!
