Late last night I received the much dredded but very expected email from the third and FINAL online boot store telling me ALL boots that I have ever been interested in or might ever be interested in are out of stock permanently. CRAP. I guess this means I will have to go to 'the city' to get some from a real store with real salespeople. I hope I travel faster than news...I'd hate for them to find out I have angered the gods and that they should refuse sale to me. I'll let you know. For now, I am roaming the countryside in tennis shoes. Talk about sticking out like a sore thumb. By the way, the sink was drained and The Cowboy had done the dishes when I got up this morning! Guess the drain works!
The Cowboy
I met 'The Cowboy' in January 2009 while on a blind date. When I asked him what he does for a living he told me he works on his family's ranch. They started as a cattle ranch when his great-grandfather came here in 1901. In addition to cattle, today they are a long-term holding facility for wild mustangs. Now, I know nothing about cattle or ranch life.... but after a year, I have learned a few things and I intend to share them with you. Some stories I will share with you are told from my perspective as I learn about cattle, about mustangs... and things anyone must learn as they experience life 15 miles off the paved road. Since they are told from my perspective, I do not promise accuracy~ but I will tell you how I see it! I hope you enjoy reading about my life from the city to the prairie!

Ok, I was concerned because I thought we voted for the pink ones. Maybe you need to go for orange! Leanne
